Sound Defense Alliance stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter Movement now and onwards. Our work to protect all communities in our region from harmful military activity stems from a desire to be heard. To all Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in our communities: We hear you. We seek to be a true ally and advocate for BIPOC and hold ourselves accountable to actively learning, maintaining and advancing anti-racism amongst ourselves and others. We will work continuously to instill anti-racist practices in all of our work as we seek to advocate for protection of our communities and the natural environment from harmful military activity around the Salish Sea, Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula.

Prioritize the protection of BIPOC communities from the effects of Growler noise and pollutants
Hold ourselves accountable to actively maintain and advance anti-racism amongst ourselves and others
